We’re sitting in the Tokyo/Narita airport, waiting for news…

Here’s what happened today:

1. we flew out of DFW at about 10 am on an American flight – not United as originally planned.

2. we landed in Narita at about 1:00 pm local time and discovered that the tickets we had for our connection to Beijing were for the wrong day.

3. We’ve been sitting in Narita for 2.5 hours. It looks like we’ll fly out at 7 pm tonight, get to Beijing late, and make our flight to Ulan Baatar…

The team is handling all this well. It seems like a really good group of people.

Ok, it’s 6:30 local time and we’re still here. Our flight was delayed until 9:00 PM.

The girls are doing ok, they’re just tired. As I’m sure you can imagine…

We spend the night in Beijing, then fly to Ulan Baatar. Once we leave the ground here tonight, everything should be back on schedule. Cue the scary music.

  1. Hey Lindberg Family,

Glad everyone got safely on planes & didn’t miss too many busses. I love the video of Carla & the girls dancing. You have to show me that when you get back home. Let me know if you still need to be picked up from the airport & we can get you home. Can’t wait to hear all the stories & see more videos.

    God Bless

  2. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT! (I loved the video!) It’s going to be a great trip and I’m confident that God will use you all powerfully!!

Tell Brent and Sherry and the Machens “hi” for the Pauls.

  5. You know what is going to be fun? Finding out why this delay was important in God’s plan for this mission. What an exciting thing to be on point for the Lord’s work in Mongolia!
Tell Tori I am praying for her. Well I am praying for everyone but her face comes to mind because we spent time together in VBS last week. May God renew your strength as eagles. May His Spirit guide and protect your hearts as you minister.
    Love you all….ckg
