Ed, it’s definitely today.

Today we had a devotional after breakfast. Chris Mechan talked about II Chronicles and the story of Jehosephat. He talked about how Jehosephat was faced with certain destruction from his enemies and his first response was to go before God and to lead the nation of Israel in supplication to God. It was a great message. Then, we went to church (pictures later). We were in a service with 70 Mongolia orphans. They lead the worship and one of them preached the message. One of the main points from the message was from II Chronicles and used the exact same passage we had heard earlier. For some, it may not seem like much. But for us here, it was the hand of God, showing that he speaks to us all equally, regardless of language or, in this case, age.

After lunch, the worship team practiced while I prepared for teaching an English class tomorrow. Three other teachers and I are going to be teaching fifty Mongolia teachers of English on Monday. We going to be giving them some strategies, ideas, and encouragement. And an English Bible to practice with. Can I get an AMEN?

We had a concert in the evening for all the orphans and some of the members of a church started by some wonderful missionaries (they’re from Alaska!!!). Shortly after the beginning of the concert, it started to rain. We ran all the stuff inside the America ger (see the picture of the band) and waited about ten minutes for the rain to stop. We pulled everything back outside, set it up, and started over. I believe the people watching were tremendously blessed as many were singing along with the band. Then, we went down to the river and had a picnic dinner served by a local church.

Please continue to lift us up in prayer. Pray for unity, direction, peace, strength, wisdom, and humility.

Thank you for all your comments. Please keep them coming.
