God has been working my brain over lately - Amanda Petersen’s stuff on 'Jesus was only kidding', Seth Barnes' blog, The Irresistible Revolution, Always Enough, and Radical Reformission (Mars Hill Church) to name a few.

I’m surprised at how much ACTION is required in the Christian faith. I think I’ve been living my life expecting things to happen to me, rather than moving to make them happen. I don’t mean this in a worldly way (I don’t think), I mean in the Jesus sense – DENY yourself, TAKE UP your cross and FOLLOW me, SELL everything you have, GO and MAKE.

This is where I want to go (no joke intended), but I’m unsure/afraid of how to move. I know it’s radical, but it’s where I want to be.

It’s kind of weird to be 41 and talking like a kid that doesn’t know what he is going to be when he grows up.
